The world is full of beautiful moments and people, and my camera gives me a way to observe and understand them. As I see it, photography is both a challenge and a mode of expression. It pushes me to organize and observe more deeply, while giving me an outlet to show others what I see and how I experience the world. Throughout my career, I hope to have opportunities to use reporting, writing and photography to help tell stories that deserve to be told.

Marching Band
This section tells the high school marching band experience. One of my favorite activities to photograph is Marching Band. These groups provide a unique mix of teen drama, performative flair and group spirit that I love.
